Where did you come from

You just were there in the blink of an eye

How did you find me

I was looking for space

I wanted to be alone

But I can’t shake you

Shake you, shake free from you

I guess you were in my blind spot

You came up from behind too fast for me to see

Yeah you were in my blind spot

Snuck up on me so fast it is hard to believe

I am trying to accelerate

Running away as quick as I can

I am not ready for this

It seems like you  know me

Know every move before it is made

But I can’t shake you

Shake you, shake free from you

I guess you were in my blind spot

You came up from behind too fast for me to see

Yeah you were in my blind spot

Snuck up on me so fast it is hard to believe

So I change my direction

Trying to escape but there’s nowhere to turn

You continue to follow

Everywhere I go

There’s no place I can hide

But I can’t shake you

Shake you, shake free from you

I guess you were in my blind spot

You came up from behind too fast for me to see

Yeah you were in my blind spot

Snuck up on me so fast it is hard to believe

So I wonder what would happen

If I slowed down the pace

Will you get bored

Are you typical

And just in it for the thrill of the chase

But I still can’t shake you

Shake you, shake free from you

I guess you were in my blind spot

You came up from behind too fast for me to see

Yeah you were in my blind spot

Snuck up on me so fast it is hard to believe

This one comes off as a stalker song. It could be. I wrote it innocently, though, as if the person wasn’t intending harm, rather the vocalist is not ready to commit, and the person they are singing about is looking to start a relationship. Pop song sound. This was the easier of the songs I wrote in the 2013 songwriting course. It was done in my normal writing style.
