Here I go taking things way too personal again

Sometimes I really wonder if you’re

My enemy or friend

It always turns out just  like this

What you say makes me so pissed

But what can I do

It is me it’s not you

I wear my heart on my sleeve

How I feel is so

Easy to see

When I react it’s too late

Emotions are raw

It is my character flaw

I cannot hide it inside

Because I wear my heart on my sleeve

I have to let my feelings out

Can’t keep them bottled up

The need I have to scream and shout

Gets caught in the lump in my throat

Sometimes I try and it won’t

But what can I do

It is me it’s not you

The way I feel

I cannot hide

Have to let it out

Can’t keep it inside

It’s a part of me

I will not change

Have to be real

I refuse to be fake

The only way

That I can be

Comfortable

In my own skin

Is to keep it real

Keep being me

Feel what I feel  and

Let my heart be free

And wear my heart on my sleeve

How I feel is so

Easy to see

When I react it’s too late

Emotions are raw

It is my character flaw

I cannot hide it inside

Because I wear my heart on my sleeve
